Applications are now open for the 2026 Monroe County Master Gardener Volunteer Training
The training is offered once annually and is required for anyone interested in participating in the Master Gardener Volunteer Program.
Master Gardener Volunteers have the unique opportunity to give back to their community and represent the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences through horticulture-related educational programs and the dissemination of reliable, research-based information. The Master Gardener Volunteer Training is a 13-week formal training designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist and educate the public.
