🚤 Lobster Mini Season is Wednesday, July 30, and Thursday, July 31, 2025.
🔁 SPLASH & DASH: Monroe County’s boat ramps have very limited parking, and many of the spaces are reserved for boat trailer parking only. There is no overnight parking permitted at Monroe County-owned public boat ramps. There is a $200 fine for parking in unauthorized areas. Consider a “splash and dash” where someone brings your vehicle and trailer back to your home after dropping the boat in the water.
🕖 Boat ramps will open at 7 a.m. for mini-season. Please be respectful to the neighborhoods and keep noise to a minimum in the morning and please follow the posted rules at the ramps.
HARRY HARRIS PARK: Holiday fees will apply to non-residents. Residents with appropriate ID can launch for free. The boat ramp parking spaces will fill quickly.
🚧 LOT FULL SIGNAGE: Once the parking is full at Harry Harris Park in Tavernier, Mike Forster Memorial Park in Key Largo, and the SR 4A boat ramp on Little Torch Key, “Boat Trailer Parking Lot is FULL” signs will be placed on U.S. 1, and we will share the information through Parks and Beaches social media.
