Monroe County Fire Rescue and the Professional Firefighters of Monroe County, IAFF Local 3909, are partnering together to accept donations for Hurricane Dorian victims in the Bahamas to aid in their relief following such a devastating hurricane event. People wishing to donate any of the following types of supplies may do so at designated Monroe County Fire Rescue stations:
• Bottled Water• Canned Goods• Can openers• Mosquito repellent• Sunscreen• Liquid hand sanitizer• Diapers• Baby wipes• Baby formula• First-aid supplies• Flashlights• BatteriesNo clothing is being accepted.

Monroe County Fire Rescue Personnel will be available between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. to receive donations at the above locations. Delivery of donated supplies will be coordinated by the Firefighters of Monroe County.
